I have always wanted to work in the medical field and completed my education at a local Medical Facility with honors. I joined the Family EyeCare staff in September of 2011. I enjoy working with my peers and greeting patients!!! I am both challenged and rewarded in my position and look forward to a fulfilling future with this practice.
When I am not at the office I enjoy cooking for my family and friends!
I joined the Family EyeCare staff in April of 2011. I am trained in various aspects of eye care health. As a former patient and now an employee I have a unique understanding of the patient perspective. When not assisting Dr. Greene in the exam rooms, I enjoy helping patients with frame styling.
When I'm not assisting patients in the office I enjoy spending time with my new daughter.
I joined the Family EyeCare team in November of 2007. Since that time I have learned many different aspects of working in an optometry office. My main responsibilities are scheduling appointments, pretesting patients and managing various business functions. I have enjoyed meeting new people and learning new skills.
When I am not working in our office, I enjoy spending time with my family as well as my grandson.
I've been working in the eye care field since 1994, and with Family EyeCare since November, 2003. Because of our practice's commitment to education, I'm able to keep up-to-date with changes in contact lens technology including corneal refractive therapy, frame and lens styling, and laser vision correction.
My main responsibility and, the area I enjoy most, is eye wear styling. I meet bi-monthly with representatives from designer companies like Nike, Calvin Klein and Nautica, to name a few. This allows me to offer our patients the latest in frame and lens styling.
When I'm not helping you select your new eyewear, I enjoy spending my time with my family and "grand puppy".
Before joining Family EyeCare, I pursued my undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science and Massage Therapy. I also have completed my Masters in Criminal Justice. Since joining the Family EyeCare team at the end of 2015, I have become a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and the office social media consultant. I also like assisting patients in selecting frames in the optical shop.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and son and spending time in my garden.
